Looking for the perfect yarn to add an artistic touch to your next knitting project? Look no further than our Hand Dyed Yarn – Rothko. Named after the famous painter, this yarn is a masterpiece in itself, blending the rich colors and textures of Rothko’s iconic works into every skein.
Hand-dyed with care and precision, this 4-ply/fingering weight yarn is made from a luxurious blend of Merino and nylon fibres. The result is a soft, durable yarn that’s perfect for creating cosy, long-lasting socks, as well as delicate shawls and intricate lace patterns.
Each 100g skein is a work of art in its own right, with subtle variations in colour and tone that add depth and interest to your projects. Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or just starting out, this yarn is sure to inspire and delight.
With its sock weight and nylon content, this yarn is also ideal for creating hardwearing, machine-washable garments and accessories. Merino’s natural warmth and softness make it a pleasure to work with, while the added nylon ensures that your creations will stand up to everyday wear and tear.
This listing is for one skein of yarn.
I do my utmost to represent colours to the best of my ability in all of my listings, but please take into account different monitors may show colours differently.
Please note – I have treated the yarn for colourfastness, however, even after the extensive rinsing process, due to the intense colours used, it is perfectly normal for some dye to come away during the first soak, please take care when knitting it together with a lighter colour. I recommend that the yarn is washed separately for the first time.
I advise hand washing and always lying flat to dry, to ensure you get the best out of your items.
Please note that the term ‘sock’ is generic and these yarns are otherwise known as fingering or 4-ply, the word sock in no way limits them to or recommends them for use in socks.
